(Song of songs)
The images represent Sulamite, the protagonist of Shir HaShirim, the Song of Songs, the love poem contained in the Bible. The works emerge from the layering of several frames, as in an archaeological excavation and each represents a situation expressed by the text. The solo exhibition will be held in Rome, Palazzo Doria Pamphilj, from 2020 January 17 to March 15. I will perform a performance with stage action and live 3D audio setup on 2020 February 21 in the Throne hall of Palazzo Doria Pamphilj.
The harsh, archaic, powerful beauty of Sardinia, the Island of the Nuraghi, is the subject of this meditation through images, which I conducted through these landscapes; suspended as there was "no time", they’re equal to themselves throughout the millennia. These images represent a meditation, operated more in my inner world than in the exteriority of the compositions, in search of a possible relationship with the Transcendent. The solo exhibition "Confessioni".
