(Song of songs)
A dialogue between photography and ancient love verses re-emerged for millennia,
in the Edenic light of the Song of Songs.
Rome, Palazzo Doria Pamphilj, Biblioteca degli Appartamenti privati, Via del Corso 305,
from 17 January to 15 March 2020 and will be open every day from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
The images represent Shulammite, the protagonist of the love poem contained in the Bible.
A stratification of several frames, from which emerge, as in an archaeological excavation, the works, each of which expresses a situation described by the poetic text.
A multisensory journey between images, music, love texts of antiquity (Mesopotamia, Egypt, Greece, Arab poets) and the perfumed essences described by the poem.
Acting and live 3D audio give life to the performance, which the author plays together with two actors,
on February 21, 2020 in the Throne Hall of Palazzo Doria Pamphilj. Admission by invitation only.
Inauguration, January 17th 2020, Photo Gallery
